Voobon Ventures Employees Keep the Change!

Voobon will participate in the Atlanta Diabetes Awareness Walk that will take place September 24th.  Each employee is encouraged to raise money for this event.  Throughout the month of August, company employees will have the chance to donate extra change to the cause and help the Voobon Team reach its goal of $2,000.  As of today, Team Voobon has raised $239.  The Employee that raises the most towards this goal will receive a FULL paid day OFF from Voobon Ventures.  So contact Voobon Ventures Team to contribute to Diabetes Awareness and Team Voobon.  Only 61 days left!

Voobon Ventures New Marketing Campaign

Voobon Ventures is launching a new marketing campaign to highlighting the company’s increase in community involvement. The campaign is divided into three sections, Active Lifestyle Sector, Scholarship Sector, and the Employee Involvement Sector.

The Active Lifestyle Sector involves Voobon Ventures sponsoring local recreational sports teams, such as football, softball, tennis and golf. These teams will receive funds that could be used towards equipment, registration, and uniforms. Voobon Ventures developing the Active Lifestyles website, which will showcase team schedules, score updates, photos and upcoming events.  The website will also include information concerning causes Voobon Ventures is passionate about, such as, The American Diabetes Association and The American Heart Association.

The Voobon Ventures Scholarship Sector will be divided into two parts, the Voobon Ventures Scholarship and the Explore Studios Scholarship. The Voobon Ventures Scholarship is geared towards students who are aspiring for a degree in finance or accounting. Students will submit an essay on a topic chosen by Voobon Ventures. The top ten candidates will then be filmed for a short interview to be placed on the scholarships website.  Viewers will be urged to view the website and vote for their favorite student.  The student with the most votes will be awarded the scholarship.  The same rules apply towards the Explore Studios Scholarship, except, in place of the essay; the participants will be required to submit a short film. Again the top candidates will be placed on the website for viewers to vote.

The Employee Involvement Sector was created not only to become more active in the community, but to raise company moral.  Each month, Voobon Venture’s employees will participate in activities and charities throughout the community. Some of the upcoming events include a canned food drive for a local homeless shelter, the Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes walk, and the American Heart Association Heart Walk. All the efforts in the new marketing campaign are driven to increase community involvement of Voobon Ventures, and to raise company moral.  

Voobon Ventures and S.E.L.F. Outreach Host Canned Food Drive

 (Atlanta, GA- June 1, 2011)   Voobon Ventures, a private equity company, and S.E.L.F Outreach, a non-profit organization, both headquartered in Atlanta, GA announced their partnership in hosting a canned food drive throughout the month of June 2011.  The contribution from Voobon Ventures employees and S.E.L.F. Outreach staff will be donated to MUST Ministries, a faith-based, non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing services to persons and families in crisis.

“Our company is very excited to be partnering with S.E.L.F. Outreach for such an important event.  We have already collected canned goods MUST Ministries is in need of, such as, spaghetti sauces, jellies, dried milk, and canned fruit.  Voobon Ventures is thrilled to not only be involved in the donation process, but our staff has already started preparing for our next community involvement event we will be hosting in July,” states Voobon Ventures Operations Manager, Michele Wolf.

Voobon Ventures Prevails Against Cyber Bullying

Voobon Ventures announces a successful judgment by the State of Georgia against an individual found guilty of publishing false and slanderous statements on www.complaints.com and www.RipOffreport.com. Voobon Ventures is currently waiting on judgments on five other individuals.

Voobon Ventures began its efforts to bring justice to the illegal publications against the company and its private employees that started in the Spring of 2011.  Voobon Ventures has been enduring attacks from individuals creating false and slanderous statements on internet media and blogging websites.  Such websites are www.complaintsboard.com and www.RipOffReport.com, which promote individuals to post statements or opinions regardless of the lack of supporting evidence or authenticity. These sites do not investigate or substantiate the claims, instead, demonstrate a disregard for fair and unbiased reporting. 

Voobon Ventures began its stand against the malicious and false statements that have been posted against the company, its executives, clients, and staff in February of 2011.  As its staff and clients continually endure these immoral and illegal statements, executives of Voobon Ventures have concluded that releasing the ‘deeper’ truth behind these statements is necessary.  “We as a company did not want to resort to directly posting such public records, but it comes a time when bullies must be punished for their actions to the fullest extent, similar to other issues this nation faces, justice must be served, and here in the United States, the law prevails over illegal, immoral, or terrorists acts,” states the CEO of Voobon Ventures, Mark Shariar.  “For Voobon Ventures, these authors of false and illegal statements are our terrorists, and justice will be served for any other offenders in such matters.”

Voobon Ventures has taken legal actions against these criminals.  Currently, Voobon is awaiting judgment against several individuals.  At this time, Voobon Ventures has prevailed in its attempt to rectify these acts of cyber bullying.  The State of Georgia has issued judgment against, Nora Murphy, one of the authors of false statements that have been published on the internet, in which the individual has been  permanently enjoined and restrained, effective immediately, from publishing any written or verbal statements of any kind regarding Mark Shariar and Voobon Ventures, Inc. or any of Voobon Ventures, Inc.’s affiliate, parents, or subsidiary companies, through any media whatsoever, including newspapers, emails, internet blogs, chat rooms, social networking sites, or otherwise, such prohibited statements including but not being limited to those pertaining to the business ethics and business practices of Mark Shariar and Voobon Ventures, Inc.  This judgment became public record on April 27, 2011 when the judgment was ordered by the Judge of Superior Court of Fulton County.   

Voobon will continue to fight for its integrity against other offenders that have committed libel in the form of cyber-bullying against the company.  As the company continues to surpass the damages from these acts, it will increase efforts towards bringing justice to the authors of illegal comments on social sites, blogs, websites, or in any other type of methods of publication.

Explore Studios Announces $25 Million Investment

Voobon Ventures attacks the Cyber Bullies

Voobon Ventures has been under attack from individuals creating false and slanderous information on internet media and blogging sites.  Websites similar to Complaintsboard.com and Rip Off Report.com promote individuals to post statements or opinions regardless of their content and these web sites do not investigate or substantiate the claims which allows publication of statements that may be defamatory in nature.  Such sites disregard fair and unbiased reporting and justify their actions under the protection of the Constitutional rights of freedom of speech by individuals in permitting illegal acts of libel to take place. The site owners refuse to remove such statements or post to the website.  Regardless of the threatening or harassing nature of the reports filed, statements, or rebuttals these website directly refuse citizens their Constitutional right by permit cyber-bullying and illegal publications. 

Voobon Ventures has begun a stand against the malicious and false statements that have been posted against the company, its executives, clients, and staff.  “The foundation of the United States is being tested everyday that these false statements are permitted to remain on such internet sites,” states Voobon Ventures executive, Mark Shariar.  He continues to express his disappointment of the failure of action from the site owners and the local government, “words are weapons of mass destruction against us due to the refusal to remove the defamatory information posted on these sites, there is no defense when cyber-bullying is permitted, my staff and business should not have to undertake such damages due to illegal statements, someone should do something about this, as permitting these statements infringes on our Constitutional right, this is America, yet an unjust attack on our organization and private individuals.”

”The attack of slander against Voobon Ventures on some blog sites  is a malicious distortion of facts.  Fair and unbiased journalism in most media outlets, practices an examination of facts before printing or broadcasting information about individuals or businesses.  No media, including the internet, should allow slanderous and malicious posts in blogs or discussion groups under freedom of speech protection unless it is supported by evidence and the accused should be allowed a rebuttal.” states John Lord, Executive Vice President of Voobon Ventures.

Mark Shariar and other individuals at Voobon Ventures have been targeted through these attacks of cyber-bulling and libel.  The Company is being forced to endure the damages from these acts and its harm against the well-being of their employees, with no resolution or relief of such damages.  Voobon executives have concluded that it is time to fight back.  In addition to taking an active stand against the cyber-bullying, Voobon Ventures has increased the sponsoring and support of community outreach organizations, in attempts to combat the preconception and fictitious remarks about the company.  Voobon Ventures looks forward to altering the actions taken by the local government and the site owners, while preventing other companies from future damages due to these unmerited websites in the process.
